My name is John Spohrer; I am a nature photographer, a Florida Master Naturalist and a lover of all things natural and wild. For the last eight years I have lived with my wife and our menagerie here in the Old Chason Plantation. It has been my pleasure and my vocation to capture the rare beauty of this unique place with my lens.

My hope with this site is that by showing and describing what a very special place this is, that we can pass on ownership to a family that values its natural attributes as much as we have.
